Hazrat Ali showed great heroism in the Battle of Uhud. While trying to protect the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during the battle, his sword broke. Witnessing this, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave him his own sword, Zülfikar. With its sharpness, it split other swords in two and wrote legends in battles. Hazrat Ali was now in battles with the Zülfikar sword... After the passing of Hazrat Ali, it is known that the sword was taken to heaven. Another account suggests it is located between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
