Wolf Head Men's Silver Ring
The Gray Wolf is the national symbol of the Turks, considered sacred since prehistoric times. The most important reason for its sacred status is the belief that Turks descended from a gray wolf. Today, the Gray Wolf symbolizes Turkish nationalism and was declared a national emblem by Atatürk, appearing on early Republic-era Turkish currency. The crescent tactic (or Turan/Turkic tactic), a strategy of encircling enemies in a half-moon formation, was first used by Turks after observing wolves. The Göktürks were the first state in history to bear the name "Turk." This ring, representing the essence of Turkish identity, is crafted from 925 sterling silver with an oxidized finish, which preserves shine and delays tarnishing. Like all silver rings, this wolf-head design is handmade. Due to silver and precious stones, the stated weight may vary by ±10%.
