Silver Grey Wolf Pendant
The Grey Wolf is the national symbol of the Turks. It has been considered sacred by Turks since prehistoric times. The primary reason for its sacred status and adoption as a national symbol is the belief that Turks descend from a grey wolf. Today, the Grey Wolf represents Turkish nationalism. It was declared a national symbol by Atatürk and has been widely used. In the early years of the Republic, Grey Wolf images were printed on Turkish currency. The crescent tactic (or Turan/Turkic tactic), a strategy of encircling the enemy in a half-moon formation, was first employed by the Turks after observing wolves. Crafted from 925 sterling silver, this pendant features an oxidized finish, which helps maintain its shine and delays tarnishing. The silver chain has an average length of 55 cm. Like all silver pendant models, this Grey Wolf pendant is handcrafted. Due to silver and precious stones, the stated average weight may vary by ±10%.
