Silver Gray Wolf Pendant
The Gray Wolf is the national symbol of the Turks. It has been considered sacred by the Turks since prehistoric times. The primary reason for its sacred status and adoption as a national symbol is the belief that Turks descend from a gray wolf. Today, the Gray Wolf represents Turkish nationalism. It was declared a national symbol by Atatürk and has been widely used. In the early years of the Republic, images of the Gray Wolf were printed on Turkish currency. The "Hilal Tactic" (or Turan/Turkish Tactic), a crescent-shaped encirclement strategy, was first employed by the Turks after observing wolves. Crafted from 925 sterling silver, this pendant features oxidized plating, which enhances durability and delays tarnishing. The silver chain has an average length of 55 cm. Like all silver pendant models, this Gray Wolf pendant is handcrafted. Due to silver and precious stones, the stated weight may vary by ±10%.
