Gold Plated Mihrimah Sultan Women's Silver Necklace
The name "Mihrimah" comes from the Persian words "Mihr" (Sun) and "Mah" (Moon). For Sinan, his love and genius transformed her into a muse. Driven by his devotion, Sinan built two mosques on opposite sides of Istanbul: Mihrimah Sultan Mosque and Edirnekapı Mosque. Their positioning creates a celestial spectacle—on March 21st (believed to be Mihrimah’s birthday), as the sun sets behind Edirnekapı’s single minaret, the moon rises between the minarets of Mihrimah Sultan Mosque in Üsküdar. Just like her name, the sun and moon appear simultaneously in the sky, immortalizing Sinan’s love. This elegant collection, adorned with stone details, complements your daily wear, special occasions, or gifting. Crafted from 925 sterling silver with gold plating, this necklace retains its brilliance longer and resists tarnishing. The stones are zirconia. Like all handmade silver jewelry, slight weight variations (±10%) may occur due to materials.
